I don't know why you are still fooling around with FS9 weather. Months and months ago I downloaded FSMetar. It's freeware if that's the
problem but it's also far superior to FS weather. In all the time I've been using it, I've never had a wind shift problem like you describe. Oh,
also, Pete Dowson has furnished the FSUIPC code to make FSMetar work, even with the unregistered version.
