I can certainly understand those feelings as well. I work in customer service for a living (hey, they give us nice titles here, it's "Customer
Interaction Team" of which I am a "Specialist" LOL!) so I know what level of customer service people anticipate, and justifyably so. And
I'm sure that having spent that money and waiting 8 days for a response can be quite devastating, but looking at the promptness of the
responses people get in here, I think they are receiving an excellent customer service. Heck, it's better than what I provide at work in a lot
of cases.
As well, you state in your message that "the number of complaints on the forum indicates that is totally bug-ridden". I'm not sure I see
that many bugs. I've seen a lot more "bug alerts" which were in reality simply requiring an explanation on a feature or something along
those lines... I sincerely believe that if it was so "bug-ridden" as you state, a lot more people would have pulled the plug on it...
Your comment "Whoever did the beta-testing should have their own consciences to live with." is absolutely uncalled for. And as much as I
do believe that someone owes you an answer for your question, I think you owe a bunch of folks an apology.
I'm not sure how much you know or don't know about software writing, and testing, so I won't make any assumption on that. But you have
to understand that it does not matter how many beta testers you get, you will never cover every environment possibility, and sooner or
later, you will come across one that totally mystifies you where the software does absolutely nothing of what it is supposed to.
We could certainly enter in a long debate on that issue, and I won't, I will simply mention Microsoft Windows... How many millions of
people have been and still are using it, knowing full well that they pay a fortune for something that is definitely bug-ridden. You''d think that
by now, they would have covered all the possibilities, and that this thing would be bug free... it is not.
Like I said, an answer is certainly owed to you, and I am convinced you will get one, but as frustrated as you might be, you owe it to
yourself and a few others to be careful about the tone and content of your posts... I am not a moderator in here, and have no desire to be
(the guys doing it are doing an awesome job) but from a "basic visitor", I found your post quite offending.
Have a great day.
