I think everyone deserve an answer, without discrimination... Dan and flyaway can speak french, so... (if someone can help us explain

This said Dan was explaining the distinction between "AGL" "above ground level" and "AMSL" above medium sea level.
In short, Dan was explaining that you can have AGL of 0 and AMSL of 40 000 if you're flying toward the Everest. If AGL is 0, you're on
ground (or crashed!) So it's not a surprise if Flyaway's AMSL was 4000 and AGL was 2500 near Geneva, since Geneva is higher than the
medium sea level.
