What about such formulae ? Attention the scale are not regular ! Altitude is in feet.
The result is the fear from 0 to 100 in the red zone (over 100) they scream. As you see -8000FPS is acceptable but not under 1250 feet
and they scream if if the descent rate is >-8000 FPS under 500 feet which seem normal.
Any comment / hint ? I can give any shape to the curve.
