Yes to both. In fact after entering the unlock code a backup of the database wasn't needed. I also often transfered pilots from one
company to another. However, keep in mind the now company in economic will have to pay for hiring the pilot. so make sure the new
company has enough starting fund to buy both the plane and hire the pilot.
