Forgive me for stating the obvious but there's this great invention called a 'fuel gauge' and, as the operator of the vehicle, we are
supposed to keep an eye on it and when it says something along the lines of "only vapour left" we're supposed to consider diverting to
another destination.
Anyway, enough sarcasm at 7am.
To fix your issue, in the aircraft.cfg there's a section titled
[GeneralEngineData]
In this section there should be an entry that says:
fuel_flow_scalar = 1
if this is not present then I think FSX defaults to a standard scale of 1. So, add the above entry exactly as it reads and then mess around
with the = 1 part until you get a vaguely accurate range out of the bird in question.
