In FSX, there are a couple of the default FSX difficulty sliders that you can return to 0 and keep them there - on is the crashing into AI traffic, as
we all know how frustrating it is when you complete a perfect flight, and some idiotic AI pilot ghosts right through you. However the option that
allows for crashes with buidlings cannot be disabled - if you disable it, it'll be re-enabled - this is so that the FSPx difficulty options, such as
blowing tyres on landing, or in my case bending landing gear struts on occasion, can occur.
