But my question was a little bit different... if this is "normal" flight than your explanation is true. But "normal" flights have nothing to do in
warzones. I'm talking about some kind of "warzone" flights, UN missions, humanitarian missions kind of flights.. in that case nobody should be
surprised about the situation and they'd probably be very happy to stay alive... they know where they are going and what to expect. If they are
shocked and scared thet's not because pilot made an error (negative reputation) but because it's a scary situation they already expected.
