(Price Set / 537 NM) X Distance traveled in NM X pax in class = income per class for trip.
That's flying a C182 with 2 Pax, and with the assumption that they are using the economy setting.
Mind you, I could be wrong but it seems close enough.

Because the price seems to be set for a distance of 530-560 NM. If you fly a route less or more than that, it's a simple rule of 3!
