I forgot.. What about coming back to the terminal after an aborted takeoff, having maintenance fix the detected failure and continue the same flight?
Kind of.. You lign up with the runway, apply takeoff power and detect an unusual temperature reading.. Or try to get the flaps down and they wouldnt..
Someting like that, and you decide to have it fixed, you make an announcement to the passengers.. Get back to the parking and open the doors, have an
estimate of how long would it take to fix and how much and then you decide whether to go ahead or cancel the flight. Maybe an option for switching planes?
