No. On VATSIM an emergency is an integral part of all practical exams. Pilot training is also provided with VATSIM, in tandem with ATC training.
As a whole VATSIM, controllers don't have any issues with handling emergencies. However, if due to FSP, or pilot zeal, emergencies become as regular as retracting the landing gear they will become a nuisance, and rightly so.
