Coding is all the same. Obviously its different if your writing a program based on an existing third-party product rather than your own but the
fundamentals are the same.
Bugs are present in the majority of every software, what might not affect one system could affect another. It's unrealistic to say otherwise. So
whether or not there is bugs in the first week or day, it's not relevant. I could name software/hardware that all had some sort of problem soon as
from the smallest to the largest/well known companies.
You have a aim. No one really knows how they are getting there in the world of programming but we do. Now, dan is one man, I'm a one man show and a I
know a few others yes we range from php - vb - c+ - visual c++ etc but its the same prospect. What I would say that would take a year is not a
addon/hack/modification.
Then again it depends on the amount of time spent on the project in question. If your doing it when you want to, 4 hours a week or what not then ye it
will take awhile but I'm assuming thats not the case since a few people pointed out this is his only income.
The sales statistics aren't in question, thats not the debate so why you brang that in to the conversation is beside me and lastly, I aswel as any one
who wishes can opt there opinion or not so if I want to state it's taking too long then so be it. I did not say I will not purchase dan's if he ever
finishes it (leaving room incase he decides to not continue), but I'm not also stating that xpax is the next big thing. It needs to get its foot hold
and needs to add some polish.
So I will leave with my cliche.
