No need to be rude here, I don't see why Saint4 feels the need to use the words he uses. I really don't feel like I'm playing the fanboy too much
here, XPax has probably some nice features, it looks like a sort of FSPassengers but it's definitely really not it - the failures aspect is what has
been delaying Dan for a while, he was already the only one to achieve the amazing failure system of FSPassengers for FS2004, it looks like he's the
only making the effort for FSX (FS Flying School does a good job for failures, although without the any integration of cockpit atmosphere like the
mayday etc - it's still the one to go if you want that feature while waiting for FSPassengers X)- therefore it's easy for XPax to come with the
passengers side of the story and drop out the failure and fleet management, but in the end it's not honest to say that XPax is the same or looks like
FSPax. And pretending that, possibly maybe, in some undetermined future, the devs might add the failures or fleet management is really misleading and
a tiny bit dodgy.
Anyway, I haven't got any big issue with HiFi in general, I'm an ActiveSkyX user (although I feel more grumpy with the split between activeskyX and
Xgraphics and the total price of both packages). I'm just very sceptical about XPax....
