One engine was damaged by small arms fire coming from the ground and ceased to function. The right fuel tank was hit by a ground
shot and started leaking fuel. The hydraulic system was hit by a ground shot resulting in total loss of all hydraulic systems. The electrical
systems were hit by a ground shot resulting in a complete electrical systems failure. Your aircraft received a few ground shots. The
aircraft was hit by anti-aircraft artillery fire resulting in a massive hull rupture. There was an exceptional pilot on board and despite the dire
situation he was able to land the aircraft safely. The Captain has also declared an emergency before landing.

Fortunately, in preparation for a possible loss of electrics, I already had the gear lowered with flaps 5. So it wasn't a no flap landing, but

And the second....
Company: Fly Jet Charters

Accident Report:
The aircraft crashed at 08h47 hitting ground at 105 kt with a vert. speed of -71 ft/m.
According to the black-box we deduce the following: One engine was damaged by small arms fire coming from the ground and ceased to
function. This was probably the root cause of the crash. The Captain has declared an emergency before the crash.

Crash Financial Report:
Taking into account the state of the aircraft and its current resale value after the crash. The insurance company decided to pay a total of
$38,035,444 which represents 20.72% of the resale value. You can now decide to repair or sell the wreck. The insurance will pay all
other damages. The insurance rate increased by 0.78% and is now 5.10%.
Total Sim Income: $38,035,444
Overall Flight Result: Crash
Pilot Bonus points: 664 points (-30% because you used time acceleration)
After critical problems aboard you made a successful crash landing with reduced damage. (+800)
There was a problem aboard and you declared an emergency. (+150)
Pilot's Penalty points: -400 points
Crash! You hit the ground with an impact speed of -71 ft/mn. There was a serious failure aboard before the crash, but you are trained to
deal with these situations. You did not perform very well here. (-400)
Now tell me that isn't the lamest thing you've ever seen? I landed a twisted up 747-400 with a touchdown rate of 71 fpm, and as soon as
the nose wheel touched the ground, flight sim just says :"CRASH"!!! AHHH you've got to be kidding me.
Another in flight emergency I had, was in a seperate 744, en route from Easter Island to Papeete, Tahiti. I planned enough fuel for
enroute + about 15,000-20,000 lbs extra fuel. Lost an engine a little over halfway in flight. Head winds coupled with a higher burn rate at a
lower altitude equaled a bad situation. I ended up landing in Papeete with around 10-15 minutes fuel on board. I was not relishing the
thought of ditching my brand new 744
