I think in the readme is something to copy all to the general scenery folder. I would not do that because i believe addons should be kept separate
from default scenery (easier to troubleshoot when necessary).
Best would be to create a EKBI folder in the addon scenery folder, create in there two subfolders, one 'texture' (which remains empty) and one
'scenery' where you place the bgl files. No need for the xml files, it's there for if you like to edit the scenery yourself a bit
