I will help you, i know the problem you have, i've been in it myself.
I bought the product a week ago and i am still learning, but your problem i solved it from a post in the fscrew forum. You are not selecting the
Automation Mode. Don't rush.

Basically what happened is that you missed a step on the Departure Brief Page relating to these three items:

Flaps
ICAO
AM (Automation Mode)

If you miss selecting one of them (as appropriate) the FO will not know which profile you're flying on departure and he won't be able to raise the
flaps properly.

Easiest one is this:

Flaps: 5
ICAO : B
AM: V (for Vnav).

This is described in the Tutorial. Follow it and it'll work.
