I can only recomand warmly BOTH... I can't tell which is better or simply which i like more.
The Dreamflee 727 seems to me beeing a more "finished" product with extensive documentation and tutorial flight. very acurate
modelisations sounds for all action and events, operating pressurization etc.
The CS 707 is a bit more rough from development, minimal documentation and some little features which can be annoying in use with
FsP and network flying, It "intercept" directly some hotkey from the keyboard buffer so, if in the chatter or in an FsP dialog or FSNavigator,
you use a capital P, it will start a very nice sequence of ronversation between you and ground crew, release the parking brakes and start
push back
. The FsPshortcut for course and heading are not operating.
You must use a trick to avoid light penalties. As the passenger version don't have APY, you must rely on Ground power. but this GP is
diconnected when you start pushing back. all lights are then unavailable then you get penalized for beacons. so I now start engine 4,
switch on bus its generator, sitch the power selector on eng 4 first.
Then I can disconnect ground power and push back without loosing light supply. I start engines 1,2,3 after push back.
The original autopilot is a bit bug ridden and will send your passengers flying in the cabin when releasing alt hold. But they released a
patch which fix that. just you need to think re connecting 'switch off/on) the heading hold each time you disconnect the altitude hold.
The strong point of the CS 707 is the deeply immersive sounds and flight dynamic, the engines sounds are great from inside and the
inertia of heavy plane is perfectly rendered. the visual is great..
Both planes have very nice panels and VC. May be the 707 is a bit more fps thirsty in VC mode.
For my experience, I was happy to have first the 727 because the documentation gave me some knowlegment I would not have found in
the tyny CS 707 doc.
