Having had the CLS DC10 package on my system some time ago, I never had a issue with blowing tires, landing hard or having any sort of CG issue. In fact, if you use a good payload model found in the More Downloads section, there may not be the sort of issue you are experiencing. You may have done this already but it's worth mentioning anyway...just in case.
Frankly, I never liked the flight dynamics of the CLS products or even how the auto pilot/auto throttles work. I found the autothrottles lagged horribly. And, I'm not adept at adjusting the aircraft.cfg to make things work better. I ditched the package and decided to stay with the PMDG MD-11.
Also, not all aircraft software are well put together. Even some of the best payload models you will find on this site will not compensate for bad aircraft packages
I've been in SAO at FedEx for 24+ years now. Spend most of my time flying around in the C208. Had a period of time that I flew around on the ATRs. I do jumpseat quite often on the trunk aircraft. Nice to see another FedEx'er(or former one that is) on here.
