Did you also run the check disk (chkdsk)? Unless someone has a simple solution to corrupt files on your system, I would say that you will likely need to reformat and re-install everything. If you do this, please make sure you optimize your system as much as possible before you re-install FSX. I know you have a considerable amount of addons,etc, but sometimes reformatting is a necessary evil. I have had to do this a number of times...it isn't fun at all to re-install each addon one at a time to make sure there are no stability issues. I feel your pain.

I will consider it.  I have to organize myself and make a list of things so that I know what I have versus what I should reinstall once the system is ready for re installation of FSX and all the addons that I currently have.  They are so many, I don't doubt something I have is the culprit for FSP not working, but I have to really see if I can do this without screwing it.
