For FsP to just go whacky doesn't really happy unless there is something that may have gone awry in the latest FsP update you installed. Run the FsP installer again (without uninstalling anything) and try another FsP flight. If it does this again, please post the install.log and the log.txt...along with the information from the Event Viewer when FSX crashes...so that we can see what module,etc, may not have been responding.
