I flew a whole flight without autopilot and/or GPS in my Dakota, finished it all off with a foggy touchdown using the rather rudimentary ILS
fitted to the MAAM Sim C47 for a perfect 132 Ftmin touchdown on the centreline. I'm quite chuffed as it was a windy flight and the
DC3/C47 is not an easy lady to hold straight, to cap that off I don't do manual, especially I don't do manual for 1 hour 40 minute flights,
that's normally an autopilot job.
So pleased I just had to share this with you all, I did one overspeed but that was a wind change (I thought ASV and FSUIPC were
supposed to stop that happening) that jumped me from 150KIAS to 190 even on idle.
