For yet there is no limits and even a "1st officer class 1" can pilot a 747...
This said this part was roughly done and I know it need somes rework.
I don't want to close any option of flight so I think more to do an optional
setting when you create a company. If you fly this company and have set
"pilot rank limit aircraft type" setting then you'll have to gain grade to fly
bigger aircraft. In this case you'll to start with small aircraft first
(not GA but small commercial first as King air as you are already a
first officier when you start)
About rank they are based on hours with a log curve (higher rank more difficult to gain)
and points... each 2000 points you gain one rank and of course each -2000 points
make you loose one rank.
Would this fit your need ?
