Yes, Canon is the only way to go. My camera that got ripped off over the summer was a Canon also. I met a fellow spotter when I was shooting my pics,
and talk about getting camera envy. He had a Canon SLR that he paid $1500 for, with a telephoto lense that cost him another $2200. One of these days
