Gee, sorry if I started something ugly here. That wasn't the point and yes, there's no sense in getting into a political debate here, as there
are so many folks who are completely ignorant and don't have the slightest clue what they are talking about. Over here, we call them
liberals.
I had to deal with one just this morning. When hearing of the bombing (by the way, it was a pair of F-16's. Always loved those
screamers!
), the response was, "Pfff, how long did it take them to find ONE MAN?!" This person then went on to bash our military,
making cowardly remarks about how incompetent they are. "And these are the people that are defending our country?" I had to bite my
tongue from lashing back with, "No, these are the people willing to take a bullet so that you can continue to spew your ignorant rhetoric!"
But, since we're on the subject now...
By the way, Abu Musab Yabba Dabba Do (whatever) wasn't part of what happened on 9/11, though he was part of Al Qaeda, head of
the "division" operating in Iraq. He was also the one responsible for the beheading of Nicholas Berg and the many subsequent
beheadings, bombings, etc. He actually has more innocent blood on his hands than those who did attack America on 9/11.
Point blank, he was a terrorist; just like Bin Laden; just like Hussein, just like all the other freaks who share that ideology and the
President (Bush) made it clear a long time ago that we will no longer wait for them come after us. We can't afford to wait for a threat to
materialize - we need to deal with it when it is on the horizon because after the fact is too late. You're either with us or with the terrorists
and we'll make no distinction between those who commit these acts and those who harbor them. Remember that?
And to any freakin' idiot who lost their brain recently, if we went into Iraq for oil, why the heck are gas prices so high? Wouldn't ya think we
might work a deal to obtain some free oil as payback for ridding Iraq of a brutal killer? One thing I'll say about liberals - they're persistent!
None of them can even agree on why they hate President Bush, they just do - because they're too lazy to find out the truth; their heads are
filled with conspiracy theories and they have no concept of living by principle. They also can't agree on the many theories thay have
cooked up to explain why we are in Iraq: Because of oil, because Saddam tried to kill Dubya's father, yada yada yada. But they are united
in one thing - they're all angry as hell. That should be a tip off.
Two last quick points: Saddam was in power in Iraq for nearly 30 years. That pretty much kills that statement that Bush 41 put him in
there. Talking points don't cut it here. You might want to do your homework before making wreckless statements. I have a stack of stuff
on Iraq at home that would make Rush Limbaugh jealous!
Also, "the country was in more order with Saddam in power?" Yeah, sure -
cause he killed everyone that disagreed with him including hundreds of thousands of his own people! I love it when people make such
statements that so obviously display their lack of understanding. Perhaps you're not familiar with the public executions he conducted, the
mass graves of those killed by his WMD's that he DID have and use. Here's a great example: One of his top officials once disagreed with
him and he told him thank you and that he respected his honesty - then he took him away. The mans' wife came to plead with Saddam
on behalf of her husband saying, "He has been loyal to you for all these years. Please send him home to me." He did - in a body bag,
cut into tiny pieces. He was building those giant cannons reminiscent of the Big Bertha's of Hitler's Germany, that would be able to fire
shells from Iraq to Israel; He was giving $25,000 to the families of anyone who would be a homocide bomber in Israel; He invaded
Kuwait in an attempt to begin a push to conquer land in the middle-east. The man actually thought he was the next Nebuchadnezzar
(spelling?). Finally, someone had the guts to stand up to him and put him in his place before he could further anymore of his schemes.
Second, about the, "mercy on his soul" thing, do I expect he will receive it? No. Does he deserve it? No. Does ANYONE deserve it? To
be honest, no. But I wouldn't expect you to understand this. I'm not for one second suggesting that if it were up to me, I'd give him a
pass, so to speak. I'd be one of the first in line with a bullet at the ready! In fact, I've said this many times, WHEN Bin Laden is found, I
hope those in charge have the good sense to take him out and not capture him. Look at the Saddam trial - it's a joke. That being said,
we need to be a cut above someone like this who shows no remorse when he kills innocents. Even when a person deserves death, it is
NOT a joyous time - though it is sometimes neccessary. Albert Mohler addressed this well tonight in his pre-show commentary.
But, you're right. This isn't a political forum.
Back to the ramp!
