Death is not a punishment for a person who killed so many innocent people just for belief

But hell certainly is. If death is simply the end of everything than, yes - it's the easy way out. But, if there is life beyond the grave and the
consequences of what you've done in this life follow you... Imagine a suffering so terrible that you actually wished you could die - only,
you're already dead! There's absolutely no escape and you will suffer continually over and over and over without end for all eternity.

We should have made that man look into the eyes of every victims family members, loved ones , children

Would have done nothing. Someone that cold, I doubt would show or have any remorse. Look at the recent trial here.
