Yes, the competition is actually a good things. Both companies are racing to make a better plane, and in the end, the pilots of those
planes also benifit from having to fly a nicer plane.

I don't hate airbust, I just like Boeing better. I don't like the way that Airbus plane have joystick instead of a control column. Also, Airbus
planes are a little diffrent in the way the information is displayed in the cockpit.
