That's a great idea. Actually, if I'm not mistaking, the masks drop automatically when you have a rapid decompression. That way you
would have a good 10 minutes to get down below 12500'. However, this should be limited to aircraft larger than a Dash-8 or a ATR-72. I
don't think many aircraft smaller than those have automatic O2 masks.
