I have had the most fun from off-the-wall freeware aircraft. Yeah yeah, the Airbuses and various Big Irons are interesting, but for REAL

It is pretty affordable, VERY fast for a prop (350 knots), and just plain fun.
I would suggest to anyone to download at LEAST one of Milton Shupe's aircraft. They are all high-quality freeware on Avsim:
