Serious flying, where I fly on VATSIM, use AsV, and spend 1 1/2 hours flight planning, checking weather, printing chrarts, I ususally fly about 15
times a month. Give or take.
Sometimes I just like test flying though. Pushing planes to the edge of their limits. Or just loading the plane up, putting it into the takeoff
config, and simply taking off and hand flying. On those flights I don't program the FMC, or other things like that. I just takeoff and fly manually.
Then there are times in which I learn to fly other aircraft that I'm not so good at. After reading the manual, I spend some time manaully flying it to
get the feeling of the plane.
