After trying all the settings in FsP I seem to have left the light penalty on hard (I control all the lights).
As I was constantly getting penalised for not doing the right procedures. I decided to print up a checklist.
The information was first taken from the welcome screen which now has a first flight checklist.
So I have been getting no light penalties. But I still have other areas where I need to get better.
For instance. I fly from Brisbane to Sydney on a regular basis. In FsP I set the flight time to 1hr 20minutes.
As this is such a demanding flight (due to time restrictions I need to get up fast and travel at mach.82 to .84.)
The other day while climbing to FL320 I was doing 330kts and passing through 14000ft .I was nearly maxing
the overspeed of the aircraft. As I had real weather I was met with a 19kts headwind and all of a sudden
(BANG!) The aircraft was in overspeed. After landing I looked at my flight report in horror. There were no light
penalties this time but only an overspeed penalty. Dam Dam Dam.
I once also had to land my 767 at 190 kts due to the fact that my girlfriend pressed F8 while I was flying at FL160
So out come the flaps and once again (BANG!) the flaps were no longer part of my aircraft. I found it very hard to
slow down and land without flaps was bloody hard (Thanks Dan).
So long story short. For me I use max settings. In a few months I think I will have memoriesed all the correct procedures
without fail.
