Quote:i hate portugal all they do is beg the refferee to give them penalties and red cards to the other team and dive just to say it was a foul

incident just involves 1 guy in a team of 11. and there are 10 millions of Portuguese... It tell it all and I don't want to insult millions of
persons just because one football player behaved poorly.
Also, isn't it a pity that in a match when during 120 mn both teams pulled all the best of themselves wh shall now just remember about
one guy loosing his temper and another loosing his self pride. Forgotten, the numerous and good tries in front of the goals, forgotten the
spectacular goal keeping of Ricardo.
Quote:I would love to see football follow rugby and cricketI fully agree Tim, at least for rugby because I don't know anything about cricket

around both games. Although rugby is a game involving full physical clash.I never heard about street fights between rugby supporters, I
have never seen after a rugby match things like what happened after Germany-Argentina or during Netherland-Portugal.
There is a tale saying: Football is a Gentlemen game played by bullies, rugby is a bullies game played by Gentlemen. No wonder why so
far.
About the refs, remember that some errors look obvious to us after seeing the video play back and forth with stops on frames took from
the camera which was on the best angle. But the footballs refs don't have the video tool, they have to take immediately a decision on what
they have seen in an eye blink from where they are.
Probably introducing the video as a tool for the refs when they have a doubt would help
