Doing things that nobody have done previously is my pleasure, I love bring things to
live, for FsP one early idea was to control somes vehicle around your aircraft but I finally
leave this idea while there is several problem and the time spend to code this don't justify
the small visual advantage...
Appart somes points as gear you cannot obtain model's shape coordinate so
at best the elevator for passengers and refueling truck would be misplaced
and doing this could take several month just to have somes vehicles
moving around you... small benefit, big work.
In fact MsFs have a big problem, a lot of its code smell like an old outdated things
the SDK is really old, complicated and don't give much possibilities...
The best solution for Ms would be to delete all the code and restart
from scratch immmo but they can't do that without destroying all the third party work.
(I wonder if it's not a false good reason because I don't things anyone use a lot of
Fs98 or 2002 material anyway)
I worked for Orbiter a free amazing space simulator that have a real SDK that
give access to 1000% more possibilities than Fs2004...
In Orbiter I can give you all the vehicle you want with all the animation you want
I can even do wildlife if I want... Orbiter is coded by ONE guy... it doesn't have the
graphicall quality of MsFs but if we consider the effort put in them (a big team with a lot of money
Vs a guy that do that on his spare time) MsFs clearly don't win the contest.
I'm curious to see how Fs2006 will evolve and if it's old crappy SDK will give more
possibilities.... I have a big doubt that Fs2006 will be anything else than a small
graphical lifting but I can be wrong...
