Hmmmm- I bet you missed the TDZ by a long shot. 
The main point is though that the smooth landing took you by surprise, it is not a product of "skill" so much otherwise you could get 8fpm consistantly on every landing. BTW Fritz 4 degrees pitch on landing is about average. Depending on the landing speed and aircraft design it can be different. A Boeing 757 might land at 2-3 degrees pitch, a Hawker Trident will land at 11-13 degrees of pitch.
