Another couple good ones for that are Washington Reagan (National) and La Crosse Muni. At Reagan, when you're landing north, the
approach is over the Potomac River, so you look like you're going to get wet and suddenly, there's land. La Crosse Muni is on an island
in the middle of the Mississippi River (ICAO Code KLSE). Nice long runways there though.
