call the investigators its air crash investigation time
todays flight KATL to KIAH
starting at gate E8 everythig is normal all the way up to cruise. all of a sudden the engines stop. my tanks read 0 on all three
i tell the copilot, the flightplan, forgete it.
squawk 7700 trim for best glide (190kias) im at FL330 and only 20NM from KBHM. so i fly heading 310 to go direct there, once im over
the field im at FL200. i start a standered rate right turn to circle around for the right pattern of runway 6. standered procedure all the way
down. on final about 4 miles out i bring the gear down. TCAS is warning of a aircraft to close to me. i hear the humm of a C-130s engines
but hes the one thats going to have to whatch where hes going.
allas i crash just a couple hundred yards from the runway. every one died, luckly nobody was in the house i hit.
the report says i failed to load the proper amount of fuel.
but wait. the dispatch sheet saied i need 17.8lbs in fuel, the aircraft had already been on 2 flights that day so it had 19.7 left in it. i added
enough to bring it up to 23.8, witch gives me 4hours of flying time, way more than enough.
reaching crusing altitude i just finished my CRZ breifing and was getting the paper work to gether to plan my descent and arrival.
my engines qui and the gagues read 0. copilot sayed we exausted our fuel supply.
this is the kicker the dispatch had 23.8 list as the loaded amount of fuel, so did the load sheet. FSfuel loader indicated the same amount.
and so did the gagues. no problems on the aircraft and its next 100 hour matanince was in 74 hours. i check the gauges perioticly
throue the climb, the FUel flows where the same all the way, and the tanks also sayed the same,
the last time i had a fuel problem the left tank sprung a leak. but only it ran out of gas. this time all 3 tanks jumped from about 21.0 to 0.0
in the blink of a eye.
so what exactly happen for me to lose all my gas in the blink of an eye
