Exceeding 250kts - does permission reset?

Evening all.

Apologies if this is asked elsewhere - I did a search but didn't spot the answer.

If I get permission to exceed 250kts in the climb to 10,000, does that permission last the entire flight or does it reset once I've gone above 10,000
feet and mean that I need to request permission again for the descent?

A couple of times now I've been penalised for exceeding 250kts when I had been given permission to do so and that's the only thing I can think of
which would explain it.

Wait...do you seriously have to ask to go above 250kts BELOW 10,000ft? Let me put it this way...you had an option to go faster than 250 kts below
10,000, because I always thought you had to stay below at/or below 250kts below 10,000ft

I said 250kts, and 10,000ft 3 times in this post...nvm make that 4 times

and wait...i just noticed this (this is off topic) but my pilot's rank is c3 in FsP, but It clearly states that Im rank "Second Officer" in FsP (I
would know because 5 seconds after writing this, i checked on my computer)...so why does my signature say different???

Yes, you have to ask to go at or above 250 kts below 10'000. You need to ask both on the climb and the descent.

The text of the rank slightly differ if you are in career mode or not.
