[Solved] Saitek Pro Flight Yoke Phantom Key Press/Rudder Pedal Problems

I did try a 3hrs flight this morning. 220 happy passengers, no troubles. On final, FO says: 50, 40, 30, 20 and gear up!! Damn
Saitek software for my
joystick! Apperantly it causes ghost keystrokes, usually for gears. So crash landing afteer 3 hrs.Suprisingly I didn't really
get upset, but got rid
of the profiler following advice on saitek forum. I Hope there will be no more surprises.

I had a similar experience yesterday with my new Saitek yoke, throttle and pedal system. The pedals were some how causing elevator movements and gear
retraction/extension movements everytime i put a rudder input in. Just had to fiddle around with all the button and axis settings in my 'controls'
folder in FSX.

I removed all joystick settings in FSX just after I bougt it (the joystick). But I only got this glitch twice and the firs time I thought I pressed it
by accident. Haven't got it more often as I usually fly Decathlon and it has fixed gear.

I always look at the lights on the panel when gears are going down. Just to be sure.

Phantom key presses are common with the Saitek software. I had this issue until I deleted all joystick assignments in normal and slew
settings then reassigned the ones I needed. No more phantom key presses.

correct. I had it too. It turns out that the gear up/down also gets assigned to button 9 and 10. When you delete all your assignments and
then go back in, you will be able to find button 9 and 10 and delete those. Only then you will get rid of the ghost key presses.

Yeah, I've thoroughly gone over my Saitek key settings. Definitely something everyone should do.

Yeah, went through and did all that; only problem I have now is the toe brakes sticking when released.....have to hit the parking brake each time I
use the toe brakes and have come to a stop to reset them...

The problem is I didn't have them for couple months since I bought it. And it's just Cyborg Evo Wireless and from what I've read on Saitek forum this
issue was more common with Yoke system.. I got rid of Saitek software but didn't really have time to test it. On the other hand I may have not seen
this gear up and down because I was flying fixed gear airplane.

I've not had a brake issue in FSX with the Saitek rudder pedals. Maybe you should delete the brake assignments again and reassign?

I dunno what the problem with the rudder pedals is; I've looked through the Saitek forums but there's only the fixes for the ghost buttons. I've also
tried deleting the function and reassigning, but to no avail; the brake sticking is still there.

hah how you dont hear gear retraction cause that make sound!and gpws should also make laud alarm and yes i use also as you guys Saitek!I have cyborg evo wairles and i use my profiler to load my profile that imitates some key strokes as shift+5 for FMC in WILCO Airbus.and one more thing when i didnt have this jojstick i was presing for fmc on key board and instead to hit 5 i hit e and opened the door just before landing!

I have found that in some of the cockpit environments in FSX, the landing gear sound is quite difficult to hear over the GPWS and other noises.

been playing around with the sound volumes os FSP lately?

I have indeed been playing around with volume levels, and will continue to have a play, but it's no big deal for me as I always check the gear are
down etc..
