Would you allow us to modify the descent rate?
Meaning that I can go in the cfg. and change it so that my passengers dont start getting nervous when I get to 5000ft/m descent rate. In Concorde its not uncommon to descend at far more then that and having to stay less then the 5000ft/m takes away from the overall experience. Thanks

mikpen,
I believe the data is pulled from the FSX aircraft.cfg file so it uses that information to determine your aircraft parameters. If this is incorrect I am hoping another beta tester will step up and correct me. I will check into this and get back with you. JeffMc Post Edited ( 10-10-08 17:00 ) ![]()

Thanks Dan and I hope it gets released soon. If let's say I get into the public beta can we get a discount on the final version?
Thanks

For me i am enjoying my time looking for bugs, I have spent quite a bit of time on the Beta testing forums and trying out problems others are having
as well as any i find myself . I am also seeing just how much work Dan is putting in on this sometimes what looks like a small bug has caused Dan lots of work. I am currently having a time of Insomnia and still i think i am getting more sleep than Dan is! I will be happy to pay asking price for FSPx what i have seen and used so far and what is work in progress right now is an amazing addon for FSX. ![]()

I see no reason why you should get a discount for testing it....
Wow, Dan's being nice enough to let you test it and have a play before the release, and before most of the people on this forum.... .... I think thats the discount... I would and probably will pay what ever (within reason) Dan asks for, for FSPX when it is released

This thread is 12 pages long now. Time for a new one ... ?
Still looking forward to FsPX!

I'm reworking the mini display, it will not anymore be a standard window on top of fsx with some problem on some computers: loss of antialiasing, display error (on some drivers) etc etc... Now it will be a FsX gauge, fully compatible, no display error, friendly for FsP and that will allow some litle new things... yes it's transparent (If you want) ![]() ![]() Work in progress, not easy anyway, FsPX still doesn't touch one line of FsX or aircraft file. It would not be unusual to descend up to 11000ft/min or more, but the the passengers wouldnt handle that and Id loose approval %. Post Edited ( 10-11-08 17:58 )

Seeing as I am a loyal FS2004 player, I was wondering Dan if this new "Transparent" mode will be in the updated FS2004 version, if not damn all of you lot who have good enough computer to run FSX, and will be able to use FSPax X.
