i fly a lot with LDS 767
5% failure in FSP
my question is: i hade engune failure in one of my flight was i suppose to get eny Eicas MSG on LDS execpt to the F/O report?
if there is any problem on cabin alt does FSP know to change the LDS data?

fsp and lds do not communicate, fsp failures effect main functions of the aircraft. The lds cabin pressure is its own addition written into
the aircraft by LDS and will not change regardless of failure sent by fsp. Hope that helps.

from your answer i understand that FSP support only Base model failure and not on complex mode (PMDG & LDS)

It only supports built in FS failures to the best of my knowledge. Planes like the PMDG and LDS 767 use far more complex algorithms to
do their own equipment which can't work with FSP.

So yes you may have an engine failure in FSP, and that failure will shut your engine down in LDS, but I don't think the gauge will notice
other than to show a drop in RPM.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong of course.
