FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #18)

Heres a few screenshots I took from tonights online leg
I appologise for the quality of the pics, and the fact that it's at night. I did mean to change the time so the sun would rise at Kuala Lumpur but
forgot about it untill I cleared the fog heavy fog Anti Aliasing was on too, not that you can see
My airline will soon be 1 year old, and the special Livery was something I wanted to do for fun I also had a video planned for it aswell, but have
been too busy to do any real work on it.
Anyways, on with the show! This is how thick the fog was, right up to 10,000ft! Somewhere behind that is an A380. Hoping it would clear, me and
Tracker waited for all of 10 minutes while Dutch, Drew, Pegease and FLC-BR arrived.

At cruise, I paused to let the late arrivals catch up


This is as close as I let Tracker get to me before I shot off again


Following the ILSDME to 14L, finally after several attempts at this at Cape Town, Johannesburg, Manchester and Prestwick it worked without any 'tits
up' moments

... and a good thing Tracker side-steped to the paralell runway,

I'm not too sure what happened here, I just retracted the flaps and the sky grew racing stripes

Just wondering did that last pic really happen, because I have a simular problem with another airport but only sometimes.

Had to quit the flight while at the gate because my keyboard simply refused any command Had to reboot. Will do flight soon again

I just finished the flight with Pierre and we both were sober enough to land at WMKK. However, my flight report says I landed at
WMKP (Penang) which is about 180 nm away
I first thought I might have typed WMKP as destination, but then it should tell me "you didn't land at scheduled dest WMKP" instead
of "you didn't land at scheduled dest WMKK". Or am I completely wrong?

I'm pretty sure I entered WMKK and totally sure I landed there

So, do I have to repeat that shaky flight or is there anything you can do about it, Mark? Please?! Sir!
(like correct the destination, delete the penalty and add some 3000 extra points....)

Nice shots there Eazy dude I have some screenies to post from tonight as well...while Wardak and I were flying. Had a horrendous
thunderstorm at WIII at departure, so we had a very bumpy ride up to cruise altitude. But, WMKK was just a bit foggy on arrival...nothing to
fear there! I will post those screenies after Mark makes another thread

This leg turned out to be my Best Flight Ever. A bit of fog that made me nervous, but it cleared up when I was 3 miles out. Touched down at -41.5
ft/m. Luckly, it was a nice long runway as I ended up floating about halfway down it.

I did try to connect while I was home for lunch, to no effect. I seem to be missing a step somewhere. I have basically a day to fix it (and to find
a plane for saturdays leg).

Here are the instructions I'm working from. This is from the tour site.

FSinn setup and server connect instructions
1 ) Download FSInn v1.1 from http://www.mcdu.com/

The version I ended up with is 1.6

2 ) Install FSInn and CoPilot (Comes with FSInn)
3 ) Start FS and Park at a gate (NEVER EVER EVER EVER START ON A RUNWAY!!!!)
4 ) Goto the "CoPilot" Menu and choose "Inn Control Panel". The program will now generate an aircraft database,
this may take a little while depending
on the aircraft you have installed! It will then connect you to a multiplayer session.

Done, done and done. However, on the little "christmas tree" in the system tray I have a red light that says "you are not connected to FWInn multiplayer"

5 ) Once connected, click the "SET" button in the bottom right hand corner of the Inn Control Panel.
6 ) In the new windows, click the + sign next to "General", and then click "General"
7 ) Enter in your callsign and pilot details! Anything you dont know leave as the default setting.
8 ) Close the Options window by click on the small blue X in the bottom right.
9 ) Click the button labelled "FSFDT" in the Inn Control Panel.

I do not see a button labelled FSFDT

10 ) You are now online and connected! Please continue to look through the FSInn settings to optimise them to your system - especially the "Peer to
Peer" connections section!

I know I'm missing something, and knowing me, it's going to be something easy....

I was nice after some 6 monthes out to meet you all old and new colleagues

I was not used since a while to do so manything in the cockpit and got a bit long in climbing. at cruise level, I started running after Martin


Mile after mile, I get closer


Until I eventually crashed in Martin's tail
Never mind, due to this, I had the pleasure to fly with Peter.

Storm and turbulences where there for most of the flight even at FL 320


Vector for RW 14 L I can check if there is somewhere to park on this airport


With a bit of luck we can make a nice parallel landing ?


At least cleared to catch the localizer but peter is some 5 nm ahead


final on 14L, Peter is already landed on 14 R then for duno what reason ?? he was supposed to land at Penang which is only some...
176 nm North from here. despite our research, we could not find what caused this spacial distortion.

Rex,

At the left side of the panel you will see a few boxes with names. One of them is FSFDT. If you click on the little square in front of FSFDT
you should connect. After you hit the little square, the program will try to connect to the server. Once connected, FSFDT will turn green.
