Becuase of crap weather, I post-ponded my solo to today, which was sweet, and greaced my landings [direct x-wind at 10 mph too ]
That sure is a thrill though... can't wait for the x-country!

To AeroJim: I am flying the c152, but will also get solo checkout in the c172 and maybe once I get my license get checkedout in the DA-40

very cool, i also fly a 152, i plan on getting my rating in the piper warrior and the piper archer because thats what ill fly at college.

Just another year or so until I can start my lessons and solo. Just hope my mom will let me.

In case you are interested, here is my first solo landing, 1 of 2 on film... I will upload the other one later... Winds were almost a direct X-
wind at 10 mph (350 @ 10)

I am hosting this on my website, and will only keep it up for so long, I will move it over to photbucket or somthing in the future...

Congratz! Although I wouldn't recommend trying to videotape your landing from the cockpit, on your second solo, lol!
