Maybe it is a time setting. When it is light outside, then the lights aren't going to glow as much, as seen in xhado's picture; when it is
darker, they are going to glow and become brighter.

why i did it put those little circles and arrows near the runway threshold lights, i dont get it, like the big red blotches weren't enough already! :LOL:

I did that already but i have htem to 0.9 is that why maybe. You have them at 0.7

I have them like that after several tests, you could modify the values to your taste too.

If you have them set with larger numbers, they will scale bigger.

From your screenshots of the oversized threshold lights, I would suspect that is the issue.

Take them down 0.1 and test. If not right, do it again, and again until they are where you like them.

For example, I have mine set a little brighter because I like to be able to pick the field out from a longer distance.

hmm donwloaded it and run the setup but then the envoronement selecting screen is messed up.
The buttons do not work. Only the round selection button do.

I changed font and screenresoultion and everthing can't bring it to work. Completly messed up visual basic dialog. Doesnt makes such
a professional impression to me that way....

But ok I thik I can manually install the files already did that with the

If you dont have this get this! Really great. The deafult world looks world better now.
Just the installation is a pain (dont believe the words of th ereadme of a very simple installment you need to copy everything manual! But
it's worth the effort.

installed and tested:

First impression

On ground:

- Taxiway, rwy , trees looks great makes a very good impretion on the ground. Water and sky looks strong dark blue but here it looks very
good on the ground although the sky is too hard dark blue for the zero altitude.

- Reflection on the plane.. ..well looks good probabily not too much, but well I am not such a fan of reflection on the plane, always gives
them a too clean touch so it's ok but I dont like it so much..

- rwy lights, too bright in dailight..but guess its because I did not adapt the fs9.cfg file

In the Air:
- sun looks different now.. thats ok (dunno if better or not)
- reflection on water.. but from what? I have clear sky. Also on the distance this reflection create a strange artificial cloudy. ineing effect.
disturbing.
- wrong dark blue color for water (installed the bright one)
- textur too rough at a certainlow altitude it has nothing in common with water (but ok the original also not)

So everthing ok or great except the water. The water looks completly unreal to me. But maybe it's just me that thinks so.
