okay im going nuts here. I tried last night flying from klga to kbos. i was cleard to land rwy 33L expecting vec i tuned the pedestal radio to
110.70 and for course 331 and set on the mcp auto for the vor on both the FO and the Cap. then for some reason the FMC when i click
the app/dep button go to airport rwy to land, try to act rwy, the FMC didnt do anything. I clicked app all three AP lit up but no autoland light
when i press autoland. Then I tried pressing LOC nothing happen. I know my figures are right on it, but its something im missing in the
steps to make it happen. I guess earlier Brad when i said I got it to work. It was just luck. Why cant i be lucky all the time

Why "perfect" the autoland, when you could be working on your manual landings? They're much more rewarding! Autoland is "just the
computer doing it's job"!

im really good on the manual landing now im just trying to get the computer to be as good as me

i dont know navymmw but i thought all fmc should practically be the same? eg. lvl d fmc i understand, but for PMDG i just cant figure out. I
takes alot of time i guess... did you check the manual?

same here with the pmdg 737. I can land it manually, but been trying for ages to get it to autoland (just for the hell of it)

i set both radios, set the course, press the VOC - and when that lights up, press the APP button, and the 2nd AP button

the plane turns online with the runway, all going well, but it just does not decend :S (then the app button clicks off, i guess because im
now too high for the glide slope)

I see this with the PMDG 737......My guess is the approach isnt' a "STAR". But then again.....I get tons of "Route-Discontinuity" when selecting the
app. off of the FMC.
I find it confusing sometimes I get "Auto-Land" other times I have to punch the autopilot off and hand-land.
But I've almst always gotten good solid app. in the LDS 767!
