I also thought so BUT have a look at the small picture in the bottom of the magazine cover its supposed to come from. FS10 is also on the magazine
cover (top of post) so if they are fake this guy took a lot of time to fake the magazine cover as well. But one never knows

Nope aint fake as I quickly searched and went to the magazine site... you will notice FS10 with the picture on the bottom of the page... BTW... FsPassengers is covered in that same issue of the magazine

They are not real photos

Look to the first, the reflexions don't match the objects (we should see the reflexion of the plane in such angle), on the second the clouds are
totally different in reflexion than in the sky.

But it gives a good effect and certainly cost less in machine ressource to apply defaults reflexion effects than actually compute the reflected object
from the real.

I hope some progress about the landing light beams also. better scales for objects like trees and water texture.

Just for the visual.

About feature, I already ranted about the ATC, ADI (Artificial Dumb Traffic) poor flight planner and mapviews.

Exactly: they are not real photos as you put it, but by the same token since when in FS (or many other games/sims for that matter) do the
reflections match the sky?

There's a part of me hopes these are genuine leaked pics of the next FS, certainly with the technology available now there's no reason
why they couldn't be.

As can be read in the forum of the magazine in which these pictures werre published (FlightXPress):

These ARE real pictures. They ARE from Microsoft and they DO depict new features that COULD be in FS10. It is still a preview of what they developed
on basis of FS9 though, and it's absolutely nothing DEFINITIVE. (The article is named "FS10: First RUMORS and Pictures"). So take it with two grains
of salt. These pictures are NOT from something like "a preview of half-finished FS10, the product". It's not FS10. But it's a glimpse at what might come.

Got a new computer that runs FS9 pefectly well and I think if I'm gonna talk about FS10 my wife gonna kill me

I've personally never heard of this magazine, and still won't trust the validity of the pictures. I'll wait till Computer Pilot or PC Pilot has a
preview of FS10... I won't be trusting something I just heard of today.

I don't trust it either. Also, the picture of the "FS10 CD Case" doesn't say Microsoft anywhere.. I'd think that FS10 would say Microsoft
Flight Simulator 2006 (or what ever year it is) and then the subtittle (A Century of Flight)

I'm with SWAFO, I don't trust it one bit. Also, don't you think that Microsoft's FS website would have information on the FS10? These
pictures would be on that site if they were real!

I sujust that nobody read anything you hear about FS10 until it ACTUALLY is announced *BY MICROSOFT!* It's not comming out
soon, so don't expect it to. This has also been discussed like..hmm.... 40 times?

SWAFO/Jetsgo: I daresay you haven't heard of 99% of the magazines in the world today, still FXP is a very renowned german flightsim magazine which can
be trusted. And yes, it is NOT FS10 as in "a FS10 alpha/beta", but everything that can be said about that I pointed out in the post above which
obviously wasn't read.

I dont belive and wont, even more so if its not american, since when does microsoft leak SS's to french magazines?
