Whats in a name?

What is the name of your virtual airline? Did you create your own or use something like Delta Virtual (using actual real life airlines).

Im just wondering for sake of creativity. Yeah I can look at the uploads, but it doesnt say why you use that name hance the thread.

My Airlines of which there are three (subsidiaries of one another but due to FSP not tying them together they are wholly on their own). I
dont fly online, but just use my imagination to make FSP that much more enjoyable

SAVasAIR - SaVas is my online nickname and has been for years. SAV are my initials and the 'as' on Vas is the first three letters of
my last name hence SaVas. SAVasAIR is the main airline (though not presently flying it as I started with too much money)

Polar Air Lines - This is the subsidiary of SAVasAIR that flies mainly bush and Alaska/Canada. Older airplanes that can take abuse
are used.

Keezaire - This is the subsidiary of SAVasAIR that flies the Caribbean. Home base is Key West and the Florida Keys (hence the
name Keezaire - [Keys Air] and we do a lot of short hops in the Keys, as well as flying into Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to drop supplies to
troops stationed there (this way I get to have fun with being shot at) This one was started with the least amount of money so short hops
were done for weeks in a single engine Piper Tripacer. We finally moved up to a MAAM DC-3

Mine is Ascent Aviation.

I took my intro flight lesson at a place called A-Cent Aviation last year here in Colorado Springs. I liked the name, but I didn't like their
stupid spelling of A-Cent, so I use Ascent Aviation for my FsP airline and my FSEconomy.com group and FBO's.

I've called mine "Fly Hire" and it simmulates the rent-a-pilot idea

Looking Glass Aviation is mine and comes from the days of Flight Unlimited 2 & 3. I flew it then because it was default and when I got
into Flightsim I chose it as the parent company for several airlines including Landmark. Then I joined Livewire VA and that became the
central theme of the storyline until I left and finally got FSP when LG once again became central to my career.

I can't remember where I came up with the name of my airline. I guess since I initially intended on it being a cargo airline, and trains are
synonymous with cargo, so I named it SkyTrain Airlines.

My VA is Transavia Airlines, because I fly the PMDG 737NG, I like the color scheme and I come from the Netherlands.

Mine is Lullaby Sky Flight Services, because I use almost exclusively business jets (charter for VIP or managers) and I am absolutely in
love with the "Lullaby Sky" livery for the Eaglesoft C-X made by Ken Scott (available at Avsim). Ken has been so nice to customize the
livery for me applying my own registration number, and now the livery has been adopted as the official paint scheme of the company.

My VA is Hermes Aviation Air Charter.

It is part of Hermes Aviation Corporation, the world's biggest virtual aviation industry. They have designed and built over 60 different types of
airliners in the past some of which I use on the flight sim (fictional of course). Prefer them to crappy old Boeing and Airbus planes

The corporation's named after the greek god Hermes by the way. Look him up on google or wikipedia and you'll see the relevance.

My airline is RIBair, this recently changed to RIBair.com, I also have a subsidery comany RIBair Cargo. RIB are the initials of my son.

My "Airline" is called "Skylinks". I think there is an actual airline or charter service called skylinks already, but, oh well

The meaning seems pretty obvious, I link various places (Mostly between Alaska, Hawaii, and other places in North America) by sky.
