Crash-Accidents

Both flights I've flown after the update (FSX, PMDG 737NGX) have ended with a crash/accident report even though the landing was fine. The latest was at MMMX where it shows hitting the ground at 4 kt with a vertical speed of -116ft/m. I land, taxi all the way to the gate and then as I pull up I get the accident screen and then I'm reset at the originating airport!!

It was an excellent landing even though the Accident Report shows 5 killed, 8 injured, etc..

After the 1st incident I disabled Crash Detection, Force Collide Collection, Disable Force Stress Cause Damage, and Disable Force G Effect Feature in the More Options.cfg (using =1).

Any suggestions on why this is happening on very good flights, nice landings, no collision, etc.? I hate losing two three-hour flights.

After having gone the full taxi in from the runway to the gate, just as I am within 100 feet of the stop point is when it happens. I'm not yet ready to set the parking brake, but very close.

So the accident happens just before you are at the gate? It sounds like the known bug in FSX where you crash into a building on the ground because it is not displayed
on the screen. Is it just 1 airport ?

I just checked my realism settings in FSX and somehow my setting had changed to Detect Crashes and Damage. I have no idea how or when it changed, but I reset it to Ignore. We'll see how that goes. And, yes, it happened twice at MMMX (an add-on) but not at MMUN (also an add-on).

It could be the add, on airport places buildings in a real world location but the same airport ( FSX Default ) has the building in a different location. To make sure, Take out
the scenery complexity in settings and try it. Be aware that FS-passenger will turn on crash detections automatically in FSX so you will need to turn it off on every flight to
MMMX.

Thanks Darrin. I'm not sure I want to reduce my scenery complexity any more than I have (normal) to keep VAS within limits when flying the PMDG.

I didn't realize the FSP turns on crash detection in FSX every time it's used. Your explanation of add-ons over FSX default is something I'm familiar with and that's probably what's happening. I wonder if FSP turning on crash detection each time is something new?

Hello, FSP turns on crash detection by default and at least the version I have has always done so. At least you can fly and get your points now !

No because without it you could crash the plane with FsPassengers noticing anything.
The problem is more with building collide and you can set this off.

Check in
FsPassengers/Config/More_option.cfg

that you have this line set on "1":
DisableForceCollideDetection =1; // disable the "force collide detection" feature of FsP

Then ensure that you have "collide" flag set to off in FSX parameters.
