Can anyone confirm that the FIX for the pmdg 737 ngx works?

I was just curious if this actually works? The post by mmmprod ([FIX] FsPassengers X and PMDG 737 NGX) states that this fixes the problem. Ive
done everything else and have had no luck so before I start working on this I want to know if anyone has had luck?
