Since most birds I know also breath oxygen, I'd say over 10K ft You *should* be safe from that, but You still may experience other malfunctions.

On my "flameout" experiences most failures occured shortly after takeoff (less than 5K ft) but they are still to few to build statistics on.

I like the fact that FSP has birdstrikes in it and you never really know when you will have that emergency

all right i will wait and c but i wanted to know so can make some little ajustments on my bird strike procedures and or make one up for a
bird getting ingested into my engine!
