FSX crash trying to unload plane

So here recently for some reason what so ever anytime that I try to unload the aircraft via the toolbar way the entire game will just crash.

Doing a twenty minute flight I wasn't worried about it. But the four and a half hour one I just did was supremely annoying.

Nothing in the game as been changed really. I downloaded a night lights add on (http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info....ts_id=1192) but
this flight was during the day so I'm not sure if that would have had an effect on it or not.

For testing sake, I'll try to uninstall that add on and see if there is still an issue. But in the meantime I want to get this up here to see if
anyone else has had a similar issue/fix.

Edit: Okay, I just did another long flight and I was able to unload the plane this time without any problems. I was selecting a new plane (made C3 finally lol) and then FSX crashed again. So I'm thinking it might be more a FSX issue then FsPax. Any suggestions?

What does it say when it crashes? Sounds like you're running out of RAM.

I don't believe its a RAM issue. My PC is running with 3.25GB of RAM and so far I haven't ever seen FSX take that much but of course it decimates my
CPU lol.

Doesn't say anything really. The whole program just crashes to desktop and restarts. I check the event logs on my computer and seen that it has
something to do with the UIAutomationCore.dll (I think that is the right name of it). So after a little extra research I might have found a couple
fixes for the problem.

Seems to be a common issue when using that top toolbar in FSX. I've just replaced the DLL with another from the fixes I've looked at and I'm running
another flight now to check and see if it is still happening.

So far it seems to be working as normal again. I'm writing this on my laptop btw while the game runs.

I suppose I could have checked this stuff out before posting but didn't even think to check the event logs. I'll keep things posted for now.

Edit: Also just found this: http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=faq&...view=ascii which pretty much sums up what is going on. Go figure that now I find it...

Yes, you should have read the forums before posting, espcially as there are two big highlighted blocks of text that appear above the topic text box,
