[SOLVED] Wrong authorization (I read the FAQ!)

Hey,
I purchased FsPassengers 2004 at FlightSimStore.com about one week ago. The download from FlightSimStore.com is an old version
of FsPassengers, so I downloaded the new version from this homepage and installed it (without installing the old version from
FlightSimStore.com before). Then I started FS and registered FsPassengers with my data from FlightSimStore.com. Then I closed FS
and installed some payloads and voice packs and so on. Then I started a flight, and when I was enroute the "Wrong
authorization" -
message appeared. So I searched Google and found the FAQ section:

- I have Windows XP, no Vista
- I have the newest Version of FsPassengers
- I didn't move the folder

So I tried what you suggest in the FAQ and uninstalled and reinstalled in the way that you're telling there.

After registering, again I shut down FS and installed Voice Packs, payloads, ... and then started a flight.
When I was enroute -> wrong authorization

I hope that you can help me!

How about downloading the old version first from Flight Sim store then installing the update? I'm not quite sure the update on this site
has all of the software you need for the complete program. I could be wrong, but sometimes updates don't have all that you need...only
enhancements to the existing software.

Once you've done the normal protocol of downloading and installing as necessary, see if you still have problems after entering your
registration serial. If so, there are numerous topics on this particular issue. All you have to do is search the forum relating to the topic.
Also, I have an XP system and I did not have this issue when I installed the original program and then installed the update.

No, that also doesn't work.
And I read through all the topics before posting this one...but in all the topics they just said: Uninstall-Reboot-Install or run as Admin
(which is useless for XP)...

Did you ensure that no folders or remnants of FsP was still in the FS9 directory before you reinstalled the old version?

Hmm, this one is a bugger. If you have uninstalled everything related to FsP and then re-installed from scratch, I am stumped at this
point. Are you sure you entered your serial code correctly?

By the way, if this continues, please send Dan an email regarding the issue. Just click the "Contact" tab at the bottom of the page. I have NO idea if Dan will get with you right away, however.

Ok thanks...somewhere in the forum I read that it might help to wait 24h and then try again. I have now waited about 48h and I think I'll try it
again today or tomorrow.

Now it works after I tried again after a couple of weeks xD Don't know, what the problem was :P
